Whipple a Done Deal??
Vega is reporting that Whipple is all but a done deal and the Steelers QB coach is already looking at recruiting lists and beginning to make decisions on assistants. I've heard other places that the deal will be announced by early next week, and possibly as early as tomorrow. We can only hope this is true.

alex, i disagree with your boy mo here, I think the "finalists" are going to be whipple and clawson, and they both will be getting jobs!
The finalists are Whipple and Whipple. This is a done deal. GDF was ready to pounce on Whipple 2 years ago when TOB was applying for the Washington job. Why do you think Whip quit UMass? All this dog and pony interview process is about is sending a message to the fanbase that GDF is doing his due diligence. Whipple was hired the second TOB left.
I'm hoping it's Whipple, and definitely wouldn't mind Clawson as OC
